GTA 6 extended gameplay is finally here, and I'm reacting to what Rockstar has been cooking. Take-Two's GTA 6 leak crackdown has gone OFF THE RAILS. Veteran games journalist Stephen Totilo says his X account was hit by a DMCA takedown despite his post containing public court orders and an Xbox executive's tweet, NOT leaked GTA 6 footage. The mass filing reportedly targeted 300 posts, with GameSpot and even Grok caught in the dragnet. Protecting GTA 6 from actual leaks is understandable, but this appears to have gone WAY beyond that. Bungie keeps experimenting, but the formula STILL isn't working. Marathon peaked at just 3,503 Steam players Wednesday, down from 4,020 the previous week and more than 96% below its March peak. Now leaked Season 3 playtest details point toward Bungie's biggest experiment yet: linked PvE runs, map changes, new weapons and new systems. PEAK UBISOFT. Heroes of Might & Magic III launched on Steam for $9.99 with the original game and two expansions promised... except Ubisoft apparently forgot one tiny detail: THE GAME. Players received a ridiculous 23.49 KB download containing a dummy executable that opened a command prompt instead. I have to give XBOX and Asha credit where it's due. Starting with XBOX Insiders, supported Xbox One and Series X discs can unlock digital entitlements, bringing digital convenience to physical libraries while the disc remains the key to ownership. Sell or give away the disc and the next owner can claim the entitlement instead. While PlayStation faces backlash over physical games and ownership, XBOX heads in opposite direction. I've been extremely skeptical of Cyberleek, but his latest GTA 6 claim is concerning. He now says the build he possesses is RECENT and that the game is “not ready at all,” even warning about the amount of work supposedly remaining. Meanwhile, Rockstar says GTA 6 is “nearly there.” Those two stories don't exactly line up. Cyberleek could absolutely be lying or exaggerating, but what if he isn't? If this really is a recent build, Rockstar may have some serious explaining to do.
