‘Dragon Age: The Veilguard’ Sells Less Than The Flop Known As ‘Star Wars Outlaws’ Whilst "Journos" Go On Full Damage Control Mode...
In an expected outcome after leaked videos of wokeness OOZING from the pours of this game from BioWare surfaced, the latest rumor surrounding Dragon Age: The Veilguard paints quite the... TERRIBLE picture of its commercial performance. Initially, according to YouTuber Endymion, who cited his inside sources, the game has sold fewer than Star Wars Outlaws, with reports indicating that only around 500,000 copies have been sold so far.
I can now back this information up, as based on my own source at BioWare...
The numbers stated by Endymion are indeed extremely accurate, signaling some seriously troubling times ahead for BioWare and EA, from a game of this magnitude...
A Disappointing Launch
Rumored pre-orders of Dragon Age: The Veilguard were originally believed to be around 115,000 across all platforms, and they were later revised down to a dismal 70,000 to 75,000 (YIKES!). These figures, combined with the game’s release-week performance, display a far broader issue with both the marketing and consumer confidence. Just spend a few moments watching any honest YouTuber streaming the game, and you'll see exactly why that is.
Veilguard might have sold (overall) so far... in the 500,000 range, which could sound good to some folks for an indie game of a far less magnitude, but this is completely abysmal for a game of this caliber. I'd set my expectations that the game must sell around 4 to 5 million units to come close to break even... The game was in development for the better part of a decade, and developers these days aren't cheap - especially in the US. With the rumored numbers so far below that threshold, the reality for BioWare's future... looks grim.
Refunds and Concurrent Player Drop-off
On top of Veilguard’s lackluster sales is the alarming rate of refunds. Endymion reported that at least 30,000 refunds have already been processed within just a few days post-launch. My source has confirmed that the number is at least that many. That is an INSANE amount of returns... and meanwhile, the player engagement metrics from SteamDB reveal the game’s even deeper challenges. Despite BioWare’s reported initial hopes for over 100,000 concurrent players on Steam at launch, Veilguard peaked at just 89,000, with current active players dwindling to roughly 48,000 in the past 24 hours. Not the greatest sign for BioWare...
The situation becomes more concerning when comparing Veilguard to Star Wars Outlaws, which Ubisoft announced sold over one million copies in its first month. Veilguard would need to literally double its sales in the coming weeks just to match those figures—an extremely unlikely scenario given current trends.
BioWare’s Silence Speaks Volumes
Another red flag is BioWare’s silence on the sales numbers. Unlike competitors such as Atlus and Bandai Namco, who proudly announced impressive sales for Metaphor: ReFantazio and Dragon Ball: SPARKING! Zero - or even how Ubisoft announced 1 million sales for Star Wars: Outlaws - BioWare has refrained from celebrating anything in regards to milestones for Veilguard. This sheer lack of any kind of excitement backs up the claims from the leakers and strongly suggests that sales aren't even close to meeting internal expectations.
Then you got the fact that BioWare announced that there wouldn't be any DLC or expansions for Veilguard, with the team shifting focus entirely to Mass Effect 5...? Huh?
This is... an abrupt pivot - and it further hints at the underwhelming performance and a strategic regrouping by EA and BioWare.
Jason Schreier’s Deleted Tweet and Industry Reactions
Formerly industry-wide respected, now disgraced woke-mind-virus-filled Bloomberg "journalist" Jason Schreier was caught red-handed deleting his tweet in which he prematurely mocked critics of the game. He had attempted to “dunk on the chuds,” only to of course find out later... that yet again, our criticisms were completely accurate.
Grummz, known for his sharp industry insights, highlighted Schreier’s retraction with a tweet pointing out the irony of the situation:
Legacy media reporter @jasonschreier CAUGHT in 4K, DELETING his Dragon Age Veilguard post boasting DAV was "top of the charts" which he posted to dunk on the "chuds".
If he's deleting his "Dragon Age Top of the Charts, Chud!" post, you KNOW sales are trash and Bioware @Bioware is in trouble.
Jason hates you. He thinks you are chuds. He mocked the "go woke, go broke" meme and it obviously backfired on him.
And he is very well connected at the dev level with many woke studios, including Bioware.
What does he know?
EA has released zero numbers. If it had sold a million copies in 24 hours like Stellar Blade, you would have heard about it by now.
Source: Followers on my feed, confirmed by myself via X search.
This all reflects broader issues within industry journalism, where narratives overshadow the reality of a game’s performance. Schreier’s quick tweet deletion showcases his disconnect between media coverage and actual real, raw consumer feedback- especially when it comes to games perceived to have a ...particular... agenda or focus.
A Case of Mismanagement
It’s clear to anyone paying attention that Dragon Age: The Veilguard isn't meeting expectations. Whether this is due to mismanagement, marketing failures, or broader market fatigue is a question BioWare and EA will need to answer as they reassess their strategies for Mass Effect 5... Assuming they even allow BioWare to make it that far. The only certainty is that the silence surrounding Veilguard’s performance, coupled with confirmed reports of low sales and high refunds, paints an extremely troubling picture for BioWare's future prospects...

This game is gonna Crash & burn because all the Un-wanted DEI/ Gender Ideology Bullshit embedded into the game, not to mention the characters in it are probably also Uglier than Fuck
What dei hire wrote this? Jk
Should be leaked out of pores not pours.
Lakerman is right. The fans of this franchise are the actual victims here. BioWare did this to themselves, so no one should feel the least bit bad for them. The fans, however, waited an entire decade for this game to be finished only to be offered a thinly veiled piece of progressive liberal propaganda under the guise of a pathetically written video game. I’ve read fan fiction better than this garbage.
If this presidential election is any indication of the current mindset amongst young males (80-90% of the video game audience) in this country, then these studios had better wake the fuck up if they expect to make any money and survive in this industry. For now, we’re all perfectl…
It just looked terrible from the start, let alone all the insufferable propaganda.....
I'm so glad this game is failing the only disappointing thing about this for the fans like myself we waited 10 years for this. I hope they get shut down before they make woke effect
