Behaviour Interactive’s DEI Training Sparks Controversy: “Wheel of Privilege” and Sylvia Duckworth’s Role in Divisive Policies
Montreal-based video game giant Behaviour Interactive, the developer behind Dead by Daylight, has landed in hot water over its mandatory Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training got exposed by an inside whistleblower.
Employees were subject to intense sessions featuring the controversial “Wheel of Privilege,” a framework suggesting that certain groups, like overweight individuals, are now apparently inherently “oppressed”.
My guy.
Put the cheeseburger down.
This initiative has drawn strong criticism for attempting to reduce complex societal issues into oversimplified binaries and fostering divisiveness rather than inclusivity. Shocking. Just like always…
The Sylvia Duckworth Connection
At the center of this firestorm is Behaviour’s decision to hire Sylvia Duckworth, a clear as day lunatic whose DEI consulting and prolific social media presence have raised quite a few eyebrows. Duckworth, a white woman, has made herself a full fledged career out of race-focused inflammatory and exploitative content. Follow the dollar, as always…
Her INSANE Instagram account is a hub of race-baiting and propaganda. It includes posts that go far beyond workplace inclusivity, diving into sketchy territory - like promoting transgender ideologies for kids - and advocating for LGBTQ+ lifestyles in youth-oriented content.
Straight to the wood chipper with this one.
Her posts fixate on transitioning and trans identity in children, and I gotta be honest - it’s cause for concern. Its not only just obsessive - but alarming.
This focus has led me to view her as emblematic of everything wrong with modern DEI practices in the entertainment industry— far more focused on ideological overreach than practical solutions for workplace equity. The true essence of a grift. Making up pretend rules for society and then charging companies to adhere to them.
The Fallout at Behaviour Interactive
Behaviour Interactive’s embrace of these beyond insane DEI methods …as well as figures like Duckworth has left everyone questioning the company’s priorities. Rather than fostering a balanced, inclusive workplace, these lunatic-DEI training sessions are alienating the very employees they supposedly set out to “right think” and has created unease within the company culture… to say the least.
Behaviour’s decision to push training ideologies highlights a much larger problem in the gaming industry: the prioritization of performative policies over genuine inclusivity and common-sense approaches.
Even more concerning are Duckworth’s qualifications—or lack thereof. While she touts credentials in DEI, her methods are less about any kind of education and more about pushing controversial ideologies. Her focus on race, weight, and gender identity, paired with a fucked up fixation on children in her public posts, has called her suitability for such a role into serious question in the first place.
The Bigger Picture: DEI Gone Awry
Behaviour Interactive’s controversy is a microcosm of a broader issue within the entertainment and tech industries. Behaviour’s execution of DEI —relying on polarizing frameworks like this BS “Wheel of Privilege” crap- and promoting individuals with divisive public personas—has instead spotlighted the pitfalls of poorly thought-out DEI policies.
This case also fundamentally proves the dangers of unchecked ideological overreach in the workplace. While many employees want fair treatment and a sense of belonging, heavy-handed and ideologically driven policies always lead to resentment and workplace tension. By tying workplace culture to figures like Sylvia Duckworth, Behaviour Interactive has now alienated both their employees and their customers that want nothing to do with this junk.
A Need for Common Sense
Behaviour Interactive’s decision to adopt DEI training with controversial elements and hire someone as divisive as Sylvia Duckworth raises actual serious questions about their leadership and values. After viewing her social media I’m inclined to ask for the FBI to check her hard drive.
At a time when inclusivity should mean creating a welcoming space for all employees, Behaviour has instead chosen to double down on polarizing rhetoric and divisive ideologies. The result? A fractured workplace and a tarnished public image, of course.
Behaviour Interactive’s missteps serve as a good reminder for companies tempted to prioritize ideology over meaningful change… this is NOT the way forward. It never has been.

This lady is a LOON.
This lesson isn’t about diversity and inclusion. The lesson is designed to make an entire group (generation) of young people feel guilty for having the things they have in life. This lesson is designed to make everyone feel miserable so they’re all on the same level. This lesson is teaching socialism.
One more thing, what is the deal with Montreal? Has anyone else noticed that Montreal keeps coming up in these conversations and news related to DEI and activists in gaming of late?
Let's call this what it really is. "The Wheel Of Oppression"
Holy cow! 🔥 🔥 🔥 These sickos need to be called out for what they are. This behavior has flown under the radar, hiding behind the apathetic banner of acceptance and tolerance. NO MORE. When someone has been emboldened as this psycho, to announce her proclivity in going after kids, we have failed as a society in creating proper boundaries. It's time people stepped up and tell these people they are wrong and punish their misdeeds.
